Statesman Towers. Previously: Colfax, Fairbanks, Hendricks, and Marshall Hall, 1968. College of Education, 1977. College of Business, 1981. Architect: Ewing Miller and Associates. Contractor: F.A. Wilhelm Construction Company. Dedicated: April 17, 1969. Remodeled: 1977, West Tower, School of Education. 1981, East Tower, School of Business. History: Named after former Vice Presidents of the United States and designed as student dormitories to handle increasing student enrollments, the buildings were converted to classrooms and faculty offices for the Colleges of Business and Education. The Bayh College of Education vacated the west tower in 2009 to move into the renovated University Hall. The Scott College of Business moved into the renovated Federal Hall at the corner of 7th and Cherry Streets in 2012. The Towers were razed and replaced with green space in 2015.
