About Sycamore Scholars
The goal of Sycamore Scholars is to ensure persistent open access, support a wide range of file types, increase discoverability, showcase the University’s scholarship, and document institutional events, history, and student life. The repository can house and promote works in a variety of formats, including theses and dissertations (ETDs), peer-reviewed scholarly journals, faculty research and data, university archives, institution and organization materials, open educational resources (OERs), student creative works, administrative output, historical images, and more. Institutional Repositories (IRs) bring together all of a University's research under one umbrella, with an aim to preserve and provide access to that research. IRs are an excellent vehicle for working papers or copies of published articles and conference papers. Presentations, senior theses, and other works not published elsewhere can also be published in the IR.
Uploading material to Sycamore Scholars is open to all faculty, staff, students, and affiliates of Indiana State University. Members of the ISU community are welcome to submit material using the Contribute Work button in the sidebar.
