Abstract
It was the purpose of this study: (1) to ascertain the amount and distribution of mental ability and scholastic achievement of the seventh-grade pupils of La Porte Junior High School, (2) to learn the degree to which these pupils were adjusted in self and social relationships, (3) to find existing relationships among achievement, intelligence, and personality adjustment as measured by standardized tests, and (4) to analyze the personality maladjustment that seemed present.
