Description

Created by Púktim. Text: "Then he stuck one of the knives in their throats/ and cut their heads off. He killed them both. /And after that, he put them on his back/and lifted them up out of the boat. Now, there was an earth oven there nearby/with a fire burning round it. He laid the two boys down there, / and pulled off their pissers. /He put the two bodies into the oven, /and, when they were covered up, /when they were completely covered up, /he laid a trap by bending their pissers over/ and he went away. /After he had done something with those two bodies-/when he had covered them up he went away. And then, / he came to where Old Moulting Woman, /the grandmother of the two boys lived. /He took the porcupine which was tucked under his belt/and flung it across at her. /” take that porcupine, /bake it in the ashes and eat it!”/he said to her as he threw it across. But she threw it back at him and said, /as she threw it, /” take that porcupine, bake it in the ashes and eat it!”
